The Facelifted Land Rover Discovery will make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
Test mules are currently in the final stages of development, with UK sales of the 2014-model-year Discovery tipped to get under way later this year.
The light nip and tuck to the Discovery’s styling includes the ditching of its current fairy-light-style headlights in favour of a solid LED graphic inspired by the look of the new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models. A revised front grille can also be seen on this test car, as can subtly revised foglights, new door mirrors and new light graphics at the rear.
The current engine line-up in the UK is tipped to be retained, with small performance and economy improvements likely. Outside of the UK, the normally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine is to be dropped in favour of Jaguar Land Rover’s new supercharged 3.0-litre V6.
The facelifted model was recently spotted testing alongside other Land Rover models.
