General Motors Europe's director of advanced design, Anthony Lo, has left the company.
Lo, whose work for GM included the Saab Aero X concept from the 2006 Geneva motor show, is reportedly now on the verge of joining Renault as its vice-president of exterior design, according to Car Design News.
At Renault he would be working under its recently appointed design director Laurens van den Acker, although this has yet to be confirmed by the French firm.
Lo’s other designs for GME included the Saab 9-4X concept from 2008 and the Opel Flextreme from 2007. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Art's vehicle design course and has also previously worked for Lotus, Audi and Mercedes.
