E-class is the first to get Merc's new range of styling and under-the-skin upgrades

Mercedes has launched a new Sport pack for the E-class, designed to bridge the gap between its standard range and AMG models.

The MercedesSport range will be launched at the Geneva motor show next week and will find its way onto other Mercedes models after the E-class.

All E-class models can be order with the MercedesSport range, which offer several mechanical upgrades, as well as styling modifications.

Under the skin, the options include a sports suspension kit, which features stiffer dampers, transverse stabilisers and shorter springs to lower the suspension by up to 15mm. A sports brake system is also offered.

Exterior styling upgrades include roof and rear spoilers, a rear diffuser and black 18-inch alloys. Inside, stainless steel pedals and sills, new leather steering wheel trim and floor mats featuring the MercedesSport logo are offered.

Full details, including a launch date for the packages, will be revealed at Geneva.
