Autocar's photographers, Stan Papior and Luc Lacey, have what many would call a dream job.
They've spent the past 12 months travelling the world to capture some of the rarest, most powerful and most expensive cars in the world on camera.
They've taken tens of thousands of pictures of hundreds of cars, ranging from storming hypercars such as McLaren's P1 to futuristic concepts like Infiniti's Q80 Inspiration, and smaller city cars like Renault's Twingo.
For Luc, his best memory of 2014 was capturing Lewis Kingston's mighty long-term Vauxhall VXR8 GTS for our Britain's Best Driver's Car feature. "The shoot was at Castle Combe, a favourite Autocar location," says Stuart."Driving the car was friend of Autocar and drift guru Mauro Calo, who was more than happy to fill my face with smoke on each attempt at getting the shot. I had to get very close to the action to make it as dramatic as possible."
It's not all about the cars, though, as Stan Papior's best moment involved meeting new Williams boss Claire Williams, as part of her interview with Steve Cropley. "She has an extraordinary story," Stan says. "Hearing about her hopes for the Williams team has restored my faith in F1. She's a very helpful and sincere person."
Asking them to pick the best photos from this year is a hard task, but you'll find their favourite snaps in the gallery above.
