BMW will launch M Sport versions of the new 5-series saloon and estate in the UK in September.
BMW's M department has developed the upgrades, which are particularly popular with UK buyers, and include changes to the 5-series' suspension, aerodynamics and exterior and interior styling.

Lightweight 18-inch double-spoke alloys are standard, although 19s are also available as an option. BMW claim these alloys "contribute towards enhanced driving dynamics".
Interior changes include an M leather steering wheel and gear knob, an anthracite roof lining and M aluminium interior trim strips.
BMW is also adding its 295bhp twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six to its 5-series saloon range, becoming the 535d. Three engines are also being added to the new 5-series Touring range - a 295bhp twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six in the 535d, a 201bhp turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six in the 525d and a 254bhp 3.0-litre straight-six in the 528i.
