Styling kit for forthcoming CR-Z; no performance gains

Honda tuning arm Mugen has released first details of a sports kit for the forthcoming Honda CR-Z sports hybrid - but it doesn't significantly increase performance.

Mechanical changes include a sport exhaust, new air filters, sport suspension, uprated brakes and a tyre-monitoring system.

The styling package - which is unlikely to be offered in the UK - includes enlarged front and rear bumpers, a roof-mounted wing, rear diffuser, a variety of 17-inch alloy designs and LED daytime running lights.

Interior modifications include additional guages, a carbonfibre mirror and a special gearknob and floor mats.

In addition, Mugen officials haven't ruled out producing a version of the CR-Z with greater engine performance.
