Range Rover is seeking 1000-plus new employees to work on getting the Range Rover Evoque to market

Jaguar Land Rover has set out on a large scale recruitment drive to help launch the new Range Rover Evoque.

The company is seeking more than than 1000 talented engineers, supervisors and production operators to work at the Halewood Operations plant in Liverpool.

Michael Straughan, operations director at Halewood, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming some enthusiastic new recruits to the team to deliver the Range Rover Evoque to the marketplace”.

Halewood Operations currently builds the Land Rover Freelander and employs around 2500 people. The average salary of the Evoque roles on offer is £35,000.

The Range Rover Evoque will make its global public debut at the Paris motor show next week.
