Seat’s new Ibiza Sports Tourer has gone on sale in the UK and will cost from £12,070, the company has revealed.
The base model is the 1.4-litre 16V S A/C; standard equipment includes air conditioning, four-speaker stereo with MP3-compatible CD and AUX-in, and steering column-mounted audio controls. Options include bi-xenon headlights, climate control and alloy wheels up to 17-inches in size. Prices rise to £14,910 for the Ibiza ST 1.2 TDI CR Ecomotive in SE trim.

It will be offered with two petrol engines - a newly EURO V-compliant 1.4 and a 1.2 TSI - and two common-rail diesels - 1.6 TDI and a 1.2l TDI, which is also available in fuel-sipping Ecomotive guise. The ST Ecomotive boasts CO2 emissions of 92 g/km and a combined fuel economy of 80.7mpg, while the 1.2 TSI can be ordered with a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
Boot space is up 138 litres over the hatchback taking the car’s carrying capacity to 430 litres with the seats up.
