These are the first spy pictures of the new Volvo V60.
The V60 is the estate version of the S60 and, along with the XC60 SUV, is part of the Volvo’s 60 range, which the Swedish firm hopes will become its biggest-selling model line-up.

Volvo claims the S60 is the most dynamic car it has ever produced, and the V60 will share the saloon’s underpinnings and styling. Its platform is an extended version of the Ford Mondeo’s.
The V60’s engine range is likely to mirror the S60’s, meaning it will be launched with two petrol engines - a 304bhp turbocharged 3.0-litre straight six and a 203bhp 2.0-litre turbo four-pot - as well as two five-cylinder diesels, with 205bhp and 163bhp.
Four more engines, all four-cylinder units, will be added during the first year of the S60’s production, including 240bhp 2.0-litre petrol unit and a 180bhp 1.6 petrol. These should all find their way into the V60, too. All models will be available with four-wheel drive as an option.
