Jaguar has launched a special edition XKR for the North American market.
As the name suggests just 175 Jaguar XKR 175 coupés will be made for the US and Canada. The model is based on the XKR Speed Pack that's available in Europe; which means top speed is increased to 174mph, while power and torque from the supercharged V8 remain at 503bhp and 461lb ft respectively.

Aerodynamic modifications over a standard XKR include a new front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. Other additions include new 20-inch, 10-spoke Kasuga alloy wheels, red brake callipers and an Ultimate Black exterior paint finish.

Interior features include individually numbered plaques, Warm Charcoal leather seats with Cranberry stitching and a Piano Black wood veneer,
The car will cost from $104,500 (£67,000) in the US; 15 cars will be available in Canada but the model will not be available in Europe. It will be on display at Pebble Beach this weekend.
