A revised pre-crash safety system also features, which supports the pre-crash seatbelt and brake assist functions with pre-crash brake technology. Both front seats are fitted with new, inflator-operated headrests, activated by a signal from the ECU in the event of a rear-end impact.

The new Lexus GS 450h is expected to go on sale early next year, with prices set to be announced nearer the launch.
