Updates include rear bench and extra kit

The Volkswagen Passat CC will now be sold with a middle rear seat.

The car has been sold with two individual rear seats from launch, but will now only be available as a five-seater - although the middle seat space is smaller.

VW has also announced other updates for the Passat, including touch-screen satellite-navigation and Bluetooth devices as standard.

The GT model also gets cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and a leather interior.

Prices are also up - although VW says the extra kit was outweighs the increase. The entry-level model, for instance, costs £515 more but has £1000 of kit.
